A Letter to You
If you’re reading these words, welcome.
Whether this journal was given to you by someone you love, discovered during a quiet season, or simply found its way into your hands, I don’t believe you’re reading these words by accident. I believe God has a beautiful way of meeting us exactly where we are — and gently inviting us deeper.
This journal was never created to be another devotional to check off your list.
It was created to become a place of encounter.
A place where your heart slows down enough to hear the One who has been speaking to you all along.
Because before God asks you to do anything for Him, He simply invites you to be with Him.
My prayer is that these pages become a place you return to again and again — a place where truth quiets the noise, where your heart finds rest, and where you remember who you are in Christ.

The Woman Who Is Becoming
The world constantly tells women they need to become more.
More successful. More beautiful. More productive. More accomplished. More enough.
Every day we’re handed another version of who we’re supposed to be. We chase expectations, compare ourselves to others, and quietly wonder if we’re falling behind.
But becoming, in the Kingdom of God, looks completely different.
Becoming isn’t about striving to become someone new.
It’s about discovering the woman God already created you to be.
Long before anyone gave you a title. Long before you built a career. Long before anyone affirmed your gifts. Long before anyone knew your name — your identity was already secure in Him.
The journey isn’t about creating a better version of yourself. It’s about allowing God to uncover the woman He has been forming all along.
That is the invitation of this journal.
The Heart Behind OGONYC
There is a reason this brand is called OGONYC. The name reflects where this journey began.
What started as a quiet dream in New York eventually grew into something much greater than a clothing or jewelry brand. It became a vision to create beautiful pieces that continually point women back to the promises of God.
While OGONYC reflects the birthplace of the brand, its heartbeat is found in one simple word:
Become.
Not because you’re trying to become worthy. Not because you’re trying to earn God’s love. Not because you are missing something. But because every day, as you behold Jesus, you become more like Him.
That single word — Become — was inspired by the verse that has become the foundation of everything we create: “And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into His image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.” — 2 Corinthians 3:18
Notice what Paul does not say.
He doesn’t say we transform ourselves. He doesn’t say we become through striving. He doesn’t say we become by performing better.
He says transformation happens as we behold Him.
As we spend time in His presence. As we sit with His Word. As we surrender again and again — the Holy Spirit quietly shapes us into the image of Christ.
Real becoming is never forced. It is the fruit of abiding.
We live in a world that celebrates hustle, self-improvement, and constant achievement. Yet the Kingdom invites us into something radically different.
Transformation isn’t produced by trying harder. It flows from staying close to Jesus.
The more we behold Him, the more His character quietly becomes our own.
That is why every OGONYC collection begins the same way. Before there is a garment, there is Scripture. Before there is jewelry, there is prayer. Before there is design, there is a promise.
Our hope is that every piece you wear — and every page you read — will remind you of what God has already spoken over your life, inviting you to continue becoming more like Christ.
Becoming Is a Lifelong Journey
There is something beautiful about God. He is never in a hurry.
He isn’t rushing your healing. He isn’t impatient with your growth. He isn’t disappointed that you haven’t arrived.
Instead, He faithfully walks with you through every season, celebrating every step of obedience, every quiet surrender, every moment you choose to trust Him again.
Perhaps today you feel like you’re just beginning. Perhaps you’ve walked with Jesus for decades. Either way — you are still becoming.
Still being refined. Still being renewed. Still being transformed from glory to glory.
The beautiful truth is that God finishes what He starts. He has never abandoned a masterpiece halfway through. And He isn’t about to start with you.
Every season has purpose. Every surrender matters. Every quiet “yes” to God is shaping who you are becoming.

My hope is that every time you leave this space, you’ll remember something simple yet life-changing: you are not striving to become enough. You are becoming who God has already called you to be.

A Quiet Reflection
Take a few moments to sit quietly with the Lord. Ask yourself:
- What version of myself have I been trying to become apart from God?
- Where have I been striving instead of abiding?
- What would it look like to simply behold Him this week?
Write honestly. There are no perfect answers here. Only honest hearts.

Prayer
Father,
Thank You that my identity has never been something I have to earn. Thank You that You created me with purpose long before I understood it.
Teach me to stop striving and simply remain with You. As I behold Your beauty, transform me into the woman You always intended me to be.
Help me trust that becoming is not about perfection, but about surrender.
May every page of this journal draw me closer to Your heart. May every promise remind me of Your faithfulness. And may my life increasingly reflect the beauty of Christ.
